Privacy
All the information provided by you will be held by our agency in confidence. However counsellors do have a duty to report cases when harm to you or another person is indicated during a session, for example if you were suicidal or it came to light that children were being abused. This agency is bound by the requirements of the Federal Family Law Act, so all information provided during counselling sessions is NOT available for presentation in Family Law Court proceedings (Section 19n Family Law Act 1995).
Your privacy is assured as per the Federal Privacy Act 1988. We understand that coming to a relationship centre can take a lot of courage and we appreciate and respect your effort and honesty.
